Plantation
The Plantation Project was launched in the spring of 2006. Since then Kileva funds have been used used to buy seeds, sachets, fertilisers and equipment such as wheelbarrows and shovels. Using these the Kileva scouts have have grown many thousands of seedlings in the plantation nursery which have been transported and planted throughout the region.
As well as providing crops of vegetables and fruit, the trees have helped to improve the Sagalla environment by encouraging water catchment and prevention of soil erosion.
