New Admin Room at Kileva Eastfield

As I mentioned in a post at the beginning of November, Kileva Eastfield School was recently granted 500,000 Kenyan shillings (around £3,200) from the local Community Development Fund (CDF). I can now confirm that this is indeed being used to build a new administration room, which will be added to the end of Block A as shown in the photo below (taken before the work began).

Below is a photo of the new room under construction looking from Block B across to Block A.

I’m really looking forward to March when a team of us will be going to Kenya to see the new room and all the other changes that have been made to the school since we were last there in November 2013.

I’m sure I’ll also be amazed at how much all the kids will have grown … 🙂

Best wishes,
