Margaret’s Party and University Course
As regular readers of this blog will know, Margaret spent many years at the Kileva Eastfield School helping to build it from its humble Pre-School beginnings into a fully functional eight classroom Primary and Pre-School. During that time her fellow teachers and all the parents and other villagers associated with the school came to know her not only as a great teacher and administrator but also as a good friend. That’s why, when she left the school to become a Supervisor within the local Department of Education, the community decided to hold a day of celebration at the school in her honour. Below are some photos from that event when, as you’ll see from the ‘photos, a great time was had by all!
I’m also delighted to say that Margaret is continuing her studies, and has now begun a Bachelor of Education course at the Pwani University in Kilifi as noted in the following offer letter:
I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing her all the very best in her job and continuing studies
