Death of Kileva Eastfield Security Guard

It was with great sadness that I heard earlier today that Mzee Mwashinga – who was the security guard at Kileva Eastfield Primary school – has passed away.  Mr Mwashinga was taken ill last Tuesday (26th September) and had to be carried into Voi at 5am in the morning by Mwakoma villagers to receive medical attention.  Unfortunately his condition didn’t improve and he died early this morning.

As well as his work at Kileva Eastfield, Mr Mwashinga was at the forefront of community development and will be sorely missed by his family and the whole Mwakoma community.

On behalf of the Kileva Board of Trustees and supporters throughout the world I would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Mr Mwashinga’s family.

Regards

Cliff
