Completion of new classroom at Kileva Eastfield Primary
I’m pleased to say that building work on the new classroom at Kileva Eastfield is now complete. Below is a brief ‘photo diary of the build from the time the materials arrived to when the front wall was painted.
Building materials arrive
Walls erected
The new class is positioned between two of the existing ones:
The stones you see in front of the room will be used as hardcore for the floor.

View from the outside:
Doors & windows added, floor concreted and walls plastered
Outside wall rendered & painted
What happens next?
The next job is to buy the furniture needed for the room, and to get some “standard-8 level” books for the pupils that will occupy it in the new year which starts in January.
Thanks again to all donors that have helped us to get to this point, and we look forward to buying the furniture and books as soon as funds permit.
Best wishes,
Cliff
