At the end of last year my employer – Cisco Systems www.cisco.com – donated a number of laptops to Kileva. The cost of shipping them to Kenya is prohibitive, so I was delighted that a young lady called Topister Lenjo – who was in England on a visit through the Global Xchange youth programme http://www.globalxchange.org.uk – was able to carry one of the laptops back to Kenya for me.
It will be used by the Talent Nurtures Troup (TNT) group in Voi where Topister is a member. TNT do some great work in and for the community so the laptop has gone to a very good home!
Thanks again to Topister for carrying the laptop back to Voi and of course to Cisco for donating it to Kileva.
Best wishes
Cliff
